The Prophesied Promise of Deliverance Fulfilled

"And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demonized; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, 'He Himself took our infirmities, and removed our diseases.'" (Mat. 8:16,17)

The Great Commission:

"These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues...they shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover." (Mk. 16:17)

Deliverance is the Children's Bread:

Now the woman was a Gentile, of the Syrophoenician race. And she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. And He was saying to her, "Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." But she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children's crumbs." And He said to her, "Because of this answer go; the demon has gone out of your daughter." And going back to her home, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon having left.

Deliverance is part of the Gospel:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to...preach deliverance to the captives...." (Lk. 4:18)
