Forty Scriptures On Healing To Memorize and Verbalize

Do you need physical or psychological healing? Millions do. If you will diligently and faithfully follow the instructions offered in this article, healing will manifest, with one caveat: you must believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior in your heart and confess that belief with your mouth! You have nothing to lose, if you are not well, either physically or psychologically — following the instructions herein will not harm you in any way — and you have everything to gain! Try it! Give it thirty days verbalizing these Scriptures at least once per day, believe it, and see what the supernatural “Word of His Power” will do for you!

But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART“— that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” (Rom. 10:8-11)

There is only one way God prescribes in His Word to appropriate effective faith — faith that works — in your life, that is, through hearing (reading is a form of hearing) the Word of God. The Word of God heard produces effectual faith!

But, faith without works is useless and dead, or ineffectual, lifeless, and powerless (Jas. 2:20,26). Hebrews 1:3 speaks of “the WORD of His (God’s) POWER!” This is alluding to the fact that all of God’s POWER is resident or contained in His WORD! God created the entire creation by verbalizing, speaking, His WORD! And, the Word of God is Jesus Himself (cf., John 1:1-14; 1 John 1:1-3).

The Graphe-word, i.e., the written Word of God has no power to produce anything until it is spoken or verbalized, transforming it from the graphe to the Rhema-Word. It is the Rhema-Word that has the power to produce. When it is spoken, all of God’s Power is released, and God said His Word shall not return unto Him void without accomplishing the purpose for which it was sent (Isa. 55:11), and He declares that He is WATCHING OVER His Word to PERFORM it (Jer. 1:12; cf., Ezk. 12:25). The very reason God has given us sixty-six books, 1,189 chapters, and 31,173 verses of His Word is for us not only to be able to read and hear it, but also to speak it, verbalize it, declare and decree it, and thereby ACTIVATE it! The Word of God says if WE decree a thing that is predicated on the Word of God, that which we have decreed and declared will be established or manifest or come to pass (Job 22:28)!

The following are some Scriptures that if you will believe them, declare them over your body (speak the Word of God to your body), and walk or act as if they are the Truth and working, the Word of God shall NOT return unto the original Source (God) void without accomplishing the purposes for which it was sent! If you need physical healing in your physical body, DECREE aloud these declarations to and over your body, and your body will respond to them, if you believe it and mean it! If you need healing in your soul (mind, will, emotions), speak them aloud to your soul and they will produce the healing you need! Remember, not one word of all of God’s good promises have ever failed (Jos. 23:14)!

If you have chronic or recurring illness(es), there are two more things that are highly recommended you do in order to realize physical healing, which is after you have built up your faith by repeated recital of the scripture passages below, begin “building yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (i.e., tongues; cf., 1 Cor. 14:14) [Jude 1:20]. And then, when you have done those two things, and your illness(es) persist(s), begin to take authority over and to rebuke any infirmity spirits (demons) that are attacking your physical body and are behind the infirmities you are experiencing, commanding them to leave you, in the name of Jesus! Simply speak to the spirits causing the particular infirmities you are experiencing BY NAME, and command them to leave your body, in the name of Jesus! You are in control of your body and evil spirits are illegal trespassers who have no right or authority in your body, so DEMAND and COMMAND that they leave your body, or your mind if they are mental disorders or maladies that you are being attacked by, immediately! If you feel you are just too weak, either physically or faithwise to take authority over these demon spirits and drive them from you, seek the assistance and help of another believer who believes in deliverance, i.e., the casting out of evils spirits. Ask that person to agree with you and have them to call the spirits out by name and command them to leave. Or, you can also visit DeliveranceNow.Com for deliverance counseling.

Nothing is of greater priority to God than your prosperity — financially, physically/psychologically, and spiritually (3 John 2). That is why He sent His Word (the Son of God/God the Son Himself) to HEAL you (see #7 below)!

There’s one last very important thing you need to understand about these Scripture passages regarding healing. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are(/were) healed. (Isa. 53:5; 1 Pet. 2:24) The Prophet Isaiah scribed the words of his book between (c.) 740-680 B.C., so around 650 years prior to the crucifixion of Christ. Looking forward in the Spirit to the Cross, he prophesied that the coming Messiah (Christ) would receive 39 stripes upon his back and by those stripes would come healing of every sort — physical, emotional, psychological — of disease and sickness for all who would believe in Him! Peter, as an eye-witness of Jesus’ death on the Cross, writing (c.) 65-68 A.D., looking backward to the Cross, recited Isaiah’s prophetic words modifying the verb to “were,” which in the original language is a tense of past, present, and future. So the Spirit-inspired prophetic words of these two prophetic Bible writers tell us that by the stripes of Christ at Calvary we are healed and we were healed, and if we are and were, then we is healed, which may not be correct grammatically, but most definitely is correct spiritually! In other words, healing is a done-deal the moment a person believes, accepts, agrees, and aligns their faith with it!

Amazingly, medical science has concluded there are essentially 39 categories of human sickness and disease. So, each of the 39 lashes (stripes) Jesus took upon his back was for the healing of one of these 39 categories of disease or sickness! So, whatever the nature of the malady you are facing, Jesus already purchased your healing for it. Healing is part of the New Covenant Jesus purchased with His Shed Blood at Calvary!

Moreover, it is so like El-Shaddai — the God of more than enough — to place not 39 Scriptures regarding healing in His Word, but 40MORE THAN ENOUGH! Take advantage of every one of them! Don’t leave one of them out of the process of applying them to your life for your personal healing! It only takes belief in ONE of these Scriptures as a spiritual premise for your healing, but you have no way of knowing which one will be the one. Believing them ALL will result in an even stronger foundation of faith to produce the result of healing!
